With the World Bank and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) support, this conference will be an opportunity to scientists, engineers, specialists, and interested participants to exchange ideas and transfer technologies relevant to water users and Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM) in Iran, and other countries. The main theme of this conference is ‘Participatory Irrigation Management’ and the sub-themes are:
• a review on participatory measures in irrigation
• required grounds and facilities for PIM formation
• support system for PIM sustainability.
