From 2007-03-21 to 2007-03-23
Venue: Sabadell, Barcelona, Spain
Summary:
The objective of the ‘Gabardine Project’ is to identify alternative sources of water to be artificially recharged and to investigate the feasibility, both environmental and economical, of their utilization. The ‘Reclaim Water Project’ proposes reclaimed municipal wastewater as an alternative water source, and aims to develop hazard mitigation technologies for water reclamation, and provide safe and cost effective routes for artificial groundwater recharge.
This joint workshop will promote better communication, sharing knowledge and information between participants, and will give an overview of the work done in both projects. International experts will be invited to give their views on aquifer recharge tools.
