Summary:
This workshop aims to facilitate interaction between regional authorities and scientists in order to facilitate the implementation of the European environmental policy in the region.
The topics of the workshop are:
• state of the art chemical analysis of emerging contaminants in wastewaters: overview of available methods, future trends and perspectives in instrumental analysis
• risk assessment and new monitoring strategies
• occurrence of emerging contaminants in wastewaters in Europe
• elimination of emerging contaminants in wastewater treatment; treatment technologies; current status and future developments.
