Summary:
This experts’ meeting is organized within the framework of the Blue Plan, one of the Mediterranean Action Plan regional activity centres established by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The national reports received by the Plan will be analysed during the meeting to foster a reorientation of water demand management policies in Mediterranean Basin countries. The results of the meeting will be presented to the Mediterranean Commission on Sustainable Development to serve as background for the future development of a series of proposals by the Commission.
