This seminar will explore the challenges of managing and providing water of appropriate quality in working and closed mining operations.
To access the earth’s resources, industry uses massive amounts of water to process, transport and remove rock and waste. Despite state-of-the-art technologies and applications the potential catastrophic impact on the environment and local communities remains.
The seminar will also discuss acid main drainage, tailings seepage and water reduction methods.
