Summary:
48 sessions will be organised for the Congress under three sections:
A) Natural systems (Hydrological modelling, Simulating the unsaturated zone, Simulation of salinity processes, Modelling climate change, Climate impact assessment, Terrain analysis and spatial processes, Bushfire modelling, Earth system modelling, Emission Control modelling, etc.)
B) Socio-economic systems (Incorporating ecological-economics into the management of coastal and marine resources, Energy economics and greenhouse gas mitigation, Multi-criteria modelling in natural resource management, Agent-based modelling in environmental management, Econometric modelling, Financial econometrics, etc.)
C) General systems (Decision support frameworks, Systems analysis - large scale optimisation in natural resources management, Modelling and simulation of agricultural systems, Urban water systems, Application of biologically inspired modelling methods in water engineering, Virtual simulation systems and their applications, etc.).
