The congress’ general theme is developed in 6 sub-themes related to: environmental geotechnics; integrated river basin management; the monitoring, modelling and remediation of the quality of surface water and soils affected by mine activities; continental fisheries and aquatic ecology; biodiversity and the conservation of native forests; and planning and management in an uncertain environment.
