Summary:
Integrated in the UNESCO-IHE short courses program, the core of the seminar is the well-known 1-week course of the International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC), presented by experts from the industry. The seminar focuses on the need of dredging, project phasing, soil investigations and productions, survey systems, cost estimating and pricing, tender procedures and contracts. The course aims to train project engineers in the preparation, bidding and supervising of dredging and reclamation works.
