Summary:
Since the water service industry is now faced numerous challenges, the syposium will focus on the topic of “New Challenges for Sustainable Drinking Water Services” with a view to seeking measures that best meet the demand for safe, high quality water and globally promote innovative water supply technologies that are environmentally friendly and resilient to earthquakes. Lectures will be delivered by guest speakers who play leading roles in the water service industry in Japan and worldwide. Research reports collected from the public will be presented at subcommittee meetings. Other programs include general panel discussions and poster sessions.
