Summary:
Since 7 years, CEREVE organizes - within the Water University of Val-de-Marne County - the World Wide Workshop for Young Environmental Scientists (WWW-YES). This event aims to promote research in the field of environmental science, particularly urban water, among starting researchers. Its main goal is to help young researchers create their own network through a workshop, composed of oral presentation of individual research, common proposal writing and technical visit. The workshop aims to strengthen the interactions between exact and social science, as well as between the North and the South. In 2009, a special edition will be held in Brazil in the framework of French-Brazilian bilateral cooperation. There is no admission fee for the selected participants. Selection procedures and admission are done through the event website. Deadline for registration is 21 May 2009.
