Summary:
The conference will address lake eutrophication, impact of global warming on lakes, and lake ecological protection issues through more than 30 thematic seminar sessions. There will also technical sessions focusing on technological research and on-site project demonstrations in Taihu Lake, Chaohu Lake, Dianchi Lake and other lakes in Wuhan province. The sessions provide an academic exchange platform for scientists, create business opportunities for developed countries, and allow representatives from developing nations an opportunity to be exposed to lake management initiatives in China.
