Summary:
Due to ongoing developments in approach, methods and tools of designing of coastal and port structures, UNESCO-IHE offers two short courses on these subjects. The main goal of these two short courses is to familiarize the participants with the design of layout of a port as well as the port related structures in the port area or offshore such as breakwaters and berthing facilities.
