Summary:
This workshop will deal with the forecasting and computations of floods and droughts, prediction of extreme rainfalls, etc. Both theoretical and applied aspects will be considered. One of the main goals of our workshop is to identify the main problems of flood and drought prediction, which should be discussed at the International Symposium of 2003 in Saint Petersburg.
