Summary:
This forum will be a part of the preparatory meetings for the Third World Water Forum which will take place in Japan in the year 2003.
The goal is to establish and coordinate lines of action for the Western hemisphere (The Americas), which will allow us to reach a sustainable use for water at medium range, based on the principles and vision of the Second World Water Forum, which are in agreement with the situation of the region and with the particular circumstances of each one of the countries and areas which make it up.
The documents derived from the forum will be presented as an hemispheric regional vision of The Americas, during the development of the sectorial topics in the Third World Water Forum.
