Summary:
This conference is designed for water managers, staff from non-governmental organizations that work to influence water management decisions, and the attorneys, scientists, and other consultants that advise these groups.
Attendees will have an opportunity to examine the real and perceived conflicts between meeting ecosystem needs and human demands for water; discuss the state of science with respect to flow requirements for biodiversity conservation; hear case studies where practitioners are working to meet human demands for water while also providing for ecological needs; and attend a field trip to nearby Rocky Mountain rivers.
