Summary:

The conference primarily focuses on important issues related to water, land and environment with a special reference to quality and conservation of water and soil by taking holistic view of rural and urban watersheds of reasonable dimensions. The objectives are;

- To identify and evaluate the cost effective and innovative technologies in water and land management particularly suitable to developing countries in the context of Sustainable development and growing environmental concerns.
- To share the experience of the scientists, engineers, NGOs and policy makers throughout the globe in the field of water and land management with a focus on water quality and conservation aspects.
- To provide a platform to people from industry to exhibit their hardware and software products in the water and watershed management technologies.
