Summary:
On the 23rd March, Sunday, will be the commemoration of the Water's Party. For this reason, the Department of the Environment and the General Society of Water in Barcelona organise, for its fifth year, the Water's Party.
The act will be carried out near the Palau Robert in Barcelona, a site in the centre of the city. To make easier for pedestrians to walk, as well as the realisation of performances aimed to an audience composed, mainly, for children, this place will be closed to traffic road during the Party.
The Party will be developed from 10 to 14. It will be livened up by music and art performances and there will be several educational workshops to transmit to children and their families a message to make aware and respectful towards the use of a so poor resource as it's water.
The Water's Party, has the motto "Each drop is very important/Each drop helps" which aim is we are aware to use water with care, especially in our country, with a Mediterranean climate and with long periods of time of drought, which have increased in frequency in the last years.
So, during the celebration tips to save water at home and to adopt habits related to maintain water quality will be disseminated.
