From 2003-09-15 to 2003-09-19
Venue: Prague, Czech Republic
Summary:
The Conference is focused on hydrogeologic issues of fractured igneous, metamorphic and consolidated sedimentary rocks of different kinds. Sustainable groundwater development and protection are among the most important tasks of present-day hydrogeology. Hydrogeologic issues of these intricate systems have been a challenge for hydrogeologists to investigate and define, with the aim to afford a reasonable basis for both theoretic considerations and practical implications. Improvement of methodological approaches, better understanding of hydrogeologic properties of respective rocks both on local and on regional scales and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative aspects of groundwater flow within this hydrogeologic environment represent the decisive steps to meet this aim.
