Venue: CNES Conference Room, Paris, France
Summary:
Prediction of flow, sediment and water quality variables at multiple scales, which is not based on the availability of measured data on these variables, is defined as the problem of the prediction in ungaged basins (PUB). This workshop aims to help the French community, from young scientists to policy makers, to obtain information and scientific background on the PUB initiative, interact with foreign colleaques particularly with regard to key questions on remotely sensed data and of the multiple scales that are involved, and to formulate proposals to advance the PUB issues.
Organizers: CNES, French National Committee for the IHP (CNFPHI), AISH/IAHS, and EGU
