Summary:
The purpose of the International Email Conference on Irrigation Management Transfer is to provide a global forum to identify and share key issues and lessons gained from experiences around the world with transfering management for irrigation from government agencies to water users associations or other private sector organizations.

The First Session will be held in June 2001. The Second Session will be held in September and October 2001.

Organizers: The Land and Water Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the International Network on Participatory Irrigation Management (INPIM).
