Summary:
The international working conference Environmental Flows for River Systems incorporates the Fourth International Ecohydraulics Symposium.

Planned for one year after the launch of Dams and Development, the Report of the World Commission on Dams, the conference will focus on methods, knowledge-development and policies for promoting sustainable use of river systems through proactive management of river flows.

Organizers: South African Water Research Commission, Southern Waters Ecological Research and Consulting, the Ecohydraulics Section of the International Association for Hydraulic Research and the International Aquatic Modelling Group.
