Summary:
A special session on Evaporite Karst Processes and Problems (EK) has been programmed for this international meeting. The special session will be an excellent opportunity to gather people from all over the world who are interested in any topic related to evaporite dissolution of evaporites and to share investigations and experiences. Given the multiple relationships that evaporite-dissolution processes have with many geological disciplines, EK studies commonly require a multidisciplinary approach. For this reason, the EK session is conceived to have a multidisciplinary coverage. Any geological study (hydrogeological, structural, stratigraphical, sedimentological, mineralogical, etc.), regardless of its geomorphological content,will be very welcome.
