Summary:
The aim of the course is to offer a detailed knowledge of techniques in flood modelling together with a practical applications on GIS, flood risk assessment, floodplain mapping techniques, and flood defence schemes. These training days are intended for consulting engineers, local council flood defence specialists, EA/SEPA employees, MSc level students and others interested in solving flood related problems using state-of-the-art, environment friendly techniques.
