The Congress will focus the above and other pressing water related issues such as: how water for crucial purposes like drinking water and food production can be secured, highlighting innovative and more water-efficient technologies; how threats to water pollution in various parts of the world can be minimized by restructuring the industry; awareness and education for achieving water security; rules and obligations that have to be linked to the “human rights approach” to water provision.
