Summary:
The conference will focus on the interdisciplinary aspects of scientific and applied water resource management. It will aim to link the perspectives of the research scientists, land users and policy makers through consideration of the problems caused by pollution, land erosion, environmental degradation, and culture and traditions. The conference will provide an international forum for the evaluation of alternative landuse management, environmental protection and land reclamation practices and policies. The Conference is a contribution to UNESCO`s International Hydrological Programme, IHP VI (2002-2007).
