From 2004-09-20 to 2004-10-15
Venue: Internet
Summary:
Background and Aims
This e-conference builds and expands on the concerted knowledge management (KM) and sharing collaboration of IRC and partners for improved water and sanitation in the developing world. It will look at existing failures, successes and joint learning examples, in order to gain more insight into key features of effective KM application in the developing world and the responses needed from the developed world.
Outputs
The expected outputs will be an overall summary report that participants can use to advocate for KM within their organisation or network. Another expected output will be a (closed?) community of practice with committed members that will continue after the e-conference.
Linking up with Local KM Workshops
The conference will benefit from the outputs of three concurrent KM workshops being held in Nepal, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh (tentative).
