Summary:
The Symposium will explore issues concerning aspects of freshwater and marine systems and their sediments. Of special interest are the linkages between terrestrial and aquatic environments, the role of sediment and water interactions in evaluating habitats and the implications of sediment water interactions in the restoration of disturbed watersheds. The symposium will include an organized field excursion to sites of interest in the Rocky Mountains.
