ICAM has established a long tradition of providing an interdisciplinary forum for discussing the influence of mountains on the atmosphere on a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. The topics of this conference include related fields such as orographic clouds, precipitation, lee cyclogenesis, gap and foehn winds, topographically trapped disturbances, boundary layers, air quality and dispersion in mountainous regions, snow, mountain hydrology and climatology, and mountain weather forecasting.
