ADWEA aims to provide a secure and safe water and electricity supply to consumers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Its goals include improving efficiency and customer service, reducing costs, encouraging private sector investment in the water and electricity sector, developing employment opportunities for UAE nationals, and maximizing returns from the sale of assets.

The Ministry Of Electricity And Water gives top priority to water and has managed to overcome drinking water insufficiency through installations of desalination water plants for the purpose of self-sufficiency regarding to desalinated water.

SEWA’s mission is: - Planning and implementing expansions and future projects to develop electricity, water and natural gas services. - The provision of electrical power to consumers in Sharjah and meeting their increasing demands. - The development, production and supply of drinking water to consumers and meeting their increasing demands. - The distribution and supply of natural gas to consumers and meeting their increasing demands.
