The California Urban Water Conservation Council was created to increase efficient water use statewide through partnerships among urban water agencies, public interest organizations, and private entities. The Council's goal is to integrate urban water conservation Best Management Practices into the planning and management of California's water resources.
This research programme is part of the International Hydrological Programme. It is an international study in Danube river basin hydrology. Consists of several projects, organizes biannual conferences and publishes reports.
The Climate Change Convention sets an "ultimate objective" of stabilising "greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic (human-induced) interference with the climate system".
