About the School
As
one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Romania, the National
University of Drama and Film I.E. Caragiale yearly produces highly competent
professionals and in complex artistic fields, mainly in drama and film. Since
1990, during the difficult social transition that has confronted Romania, the
Film faculty, despite all inconveniences, continued to train specialists for
cinema, television and other forms of media.
Throughout
the years, the school has been awarded a large number of prizes in film school
festivals worldwide and was awarded Most Interesting School Program and Best
Film Collection in the International Festival of Film schools in Germany and
Hungary.
