    Description: An electronic illustrated catalogue of this important collection of early photographs produced by the partnership of David Octavius Hill and Robert Adamson between 1843 and 1847 in Edinburgh. The collection contains 468 salted paper prints and 490 original calotype negatives. With the support of a British Academy research grant, all the prints and negatives have been digitised and the full catalogue of images may be searched. Please note: at present access to full sized images from records is available only to users within Glasgow University Library.
