The Centre specialises in cartoons of political and social comment, and its collection includes some 30,000 original cartoons and strips from British newspapers and magazines, plus 65,000 cuttings. There is in addition a book collection, a photo library of 60,000 images, and a fully-searchable database of 37,000 cartoons freely available over the web.
