The goal of the Vision Plus symposiums is to create awareness about the general needs of Information Design and potential resources in the face of development of information and communication technologies.
This year, under the heading "Diversification of Minds - Conversation in Processes: Design for Communities" the presentations of Vision Plus will focus on new concepts of information generation, processing and delivering as needed for successful communication within communities of local and global scales. Under the theme, Design for Communities, together with top experts of related fields from Japan will provide remarkable input into the current planning of educational curricula as well as projects of public communication.
Vision Plus 7 will bring together a selection of internationally renowned infographists, information designers and related specialists from around the world, including Japan. This workshop holds interest for experts in design, information technology, communication, corporate planning and education of government bodies, public institutions and industries. It will be the first international conference of its kind to take place in Japan.
