If you are deeply interested in input of metadata into the DOBM structure, you will need first to install the supporting software to be able to try what you will be reading about.

This software consists of the GenTemp program which will assist you to create a template for data entry and of the GenHTML program which will transform your metadata into the extended HTML (i. e. our SGML-based DOBM format).
