Memory of Russia
This CD-ROM ciontains three data bases: Oktoikh from the year 1491, graphic materials from the stocks of the Russian State Library and works by I. Blinov. The data
base "Oktoikh" contains colour pictures of 340 pages from the book "Oktoikh" put out in 1491 in Krakow.

The Sana'a manuscripts
A demonstration disc providing an introduction to the variety and richness of Yemenite manuscript collections has been
prepared on the basis of some five hundred selected manuscripts featuring Koranic parchment and paper fragments, the oldest of which date
back to the first centuries of Hegira.
Each "Memory of the World" project is financially a self-contained entity. An international fund has been set up within UNESCO
to back these projects.
