Several collections of the communist archives in Belgium, such as the Isabelle Blume collection, the Belgian communist daily press archives and the Congo archives, include unique documents which constitute exceptional testimony to the activities of the communist movement in Belgium, in particular its backing for the pro-independence politicians of the Congo.
