Objectives

To raise awareness and encourage discussion of themes of peace and good governance among the Somali population.
To increase collaboration among UN agencies and NGOs in promoting a culture of peace and good governance in Somalia.
To increase knowledge and skills among media professionals about development of programmes on themes of peace and good governance.
To promote the inclusion of themes of peace and good governance in basic education and literacy programmes for Somalis.

Activities

Training of radio production and publishing staff. Training in participatory communication and evaluation. Provision of equipment. Establishing evaluation and monitoring system for UN projects.
