Objectives

To upgrade the journalism resource centre with computerised word processing and data retrieval facilities.
To develop a comprehensive research library that could be assessed by journalists, media practitioners, communication students and academicians.
To provide a range of vernacular language handbooks and reference material needed for local journalists.

Activities

Project activities are being revised in line with the available funds.

Funds obligated

Implementation mission was conducted in July 1998.
Contractual arrangements for project implementation are being negotiated by RCA/KUA.
