Objectives
|
Set in operation a specialized centre for audio-visual production as
a backup to the information, training and cultural advancement activities
of the co-operative movement.

Activities
|
1. Adequate premises for the centre's set up has been selected.
2. Audio-visual equipment has been purchased.
3. A high-level training course on audiovisual production has been carried
out.
4. Two audio-visual programs to strengthen the contribution of the co-operative
movement to the political, social, economical and cultural processes
have been produced.
5. A diagnostic study on communication facilities, necessities and diffusion
of the cooperative movement has been conducted.

Objectives |
Increase the amount of information for marginalized groups (women, children
and indigenous groups) in rural areas of the country. Improve training
of the programme-makers and journalists of rural radio stations, and
that of communicators in government institutions and NGOs working directly
for the rural sector.

Activities |
1. Carry out an analysis of the technical, professional and administrative
needs of rural radio stations.
2. Organize nine workshops in key areas of programme-making and management
in rural radio stations.
3. Produce two radio series, each with an average of 12 programmes.
4. Produce and distribute two self-instruction manuals on the organization,
management and development of rural radio stations. 5. Strengthen the
news broadcasts of the network of ICER radio stations, whose main audience
consists of the indigenous groups in the country.
6. Install one new aerial for the reception of Radio Nederland satellite
broadcasts.
7. Publish information on the follow-up, results and recommendations
arising from the implementation of the project.
