Objectives

To conduct a study under UNDP Support Service for Policy and Development Programme to assist the Fiji Film and Television Unit to develop long term strategic plan which will redefine its role in the market conditions of the 1990.

Activities

The study including a review of the current corporate plan and strategies of the ministry of information, assessment of the FTU and its critical functions identifying the future focus was completed in October 1997.

To continue the journalism certificate training programme with the view of upgrading it to a diploma programme.
