Renovation of Mangal Bahudvar Chaitya (Tashi Gomang) at Svayambhu

The Mangal Bahudwar Chaitya (Tashi Gomang Stupa) at Svayambhu collapsed completely during the 2015 earthquakes. UNESCO, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and the Federation of Swayambhu Management and Conservation, excavated the stupa site, rehabilitated the stupa and safeguarded its artifacts. The completion ceremony JeevNyas Puja was organised on 23 August 2018.
