Say no to discrimination in education! - #RightToEducation campaign

Education is a fundamental human right for every man, woman and child. It lies at the heart of UNESCO’s work to build a more peaceful, just and sustainable planet.

More than six decades have passed since the adoption of the UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education, yet this right is still not a reality for millions around the world. Around 244 million children and youth are deprived of education and there are still 771 million illiterate young people and adults globally, most of whom are women.

This must change!

It is high time to ensure the realization of this right, from early childhood to higher education and throughout life -and without any discrimination! That’s why UNESCO works to ensure that everyone, everywhere gets access to quality learning and contributes to transforming our collective future for the better.

Explore and join UNESCO’s #RightToEducation campaign now!  Help spread the word to ensure that everyone has the right to education!
