Conservation and dissemination of the Cajamarca clarinet from the communities of Shaullo, La Haraclla, San Juan, Pariamarca and Patapata (DU)

The clarinet is a traditional instrument of the department of Cajamarca that makes sense when it is played in a group, in community. It is present in festivities and community celebrations and can be found in the hamlets and villages.

The collective was a beneficiary of the line to strengthen community memory within the framework of Emergency Decree No. 058-220 aimed at cultural workers and bearers of intangible cultural heritage whose economic activities were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
