Science and media project was launched in 2006 in the Caribbean with the production of three short 10-minute films and seven one-minute spots on HIV/AIDS through a partnership between the University of the West Indies (UWI) and UNESCO
Aimed at youth, the general public and Caribbean audience, the films feature science related issues such as human physiology and behaviour, environmental preservation and HIV/AIDS from a pedagogical viewpoint.
