The film “Vanuatu Intangible Cultural Heritage and Community Resilience” features the role played by the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the sustainable lifestyle in Vanuatu.
It specifically highlights the traditional knowledge and skills related to the indigenous architectures and food preparation as a risk mitigation strategy in the country that is vulnerable to natural disasters.
The film was produced as one of the outcomes of the projects supported by UNESCO Office for the Pacific States with the financial assistance under the UNESCO Heritage Emergency Fund.
