Melody for Peace: Debussy, but not only. Music for a green planet

This program was made possible with supports from UNESCO and City of Geneva to highlight the role of music as an important means of communication on environmental issues. It was held on 1 October 2009 in the Victoria Hall, Geneva.

Prague Philharmonic Orchestra was led by Miriam Nimcova. Soloists were Manon Strauss (Soprano) Guo Gan (Erhu), Liu Fang (Pipa) and Wolfgang David (violin). Other artists: Shyamal Maitra, Jason Carter, Fawzi Al Angawi, P. Bota. New York Virtuosi Quartet played music of TanDun (part 1 and II).
