For the last 20 years, UNESCO and the L'Oreal Foundation have worked together to increase the inclusiveness of science by improving the representation of women in science. At the same time, the Open Science movement has been rising globally to democratize science by increasing access to scientific information and data, promoting the rights of all to enjoy the benefits of scientific research and promoting equality and inclusiveness of scientific outcomes and processes.
