Although essentially a universal language , music has its own local flavour in different parts of the world. This film was produced in the framework of UNESCOS Major Project on Mutual Appreciation of Eastern and Western Cultural Values. It stresses the contrasts and the resemblances, and illustrates musically the steps that lead towards unity and understanding.
