Braille Music Conference (Music by the Blind)

This recording describes how representatives of blind musicians in 19 countries convened in Paris and went to the Panthéon to pay homage at the tomb of Louis Braille. A conference was inaugurated by UNESCO and implemented by the World Council for the Welfare of the Blind (WCWB) and the American Foundation for the Overseas Blind to discuss subjects like Braille music notation on an international basis, and international cataloguing and distribution of Braille music.
